Is anyone else experiencing the same problem ?
Has anyone figured out a solution to continue being able to record or stream using the Nividia Shadow Play feature ?
Will Mechwarrior look into this if there hasnt been any solution ?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thank You

AH Thank you. I was really upset when I couldn't record with the new UI, but that fixes it.
Now if Nvida would fix the chop sounds that seem to have occurred with the latest shadow play update for me.

Now I don't have to sacrifice FPS for video recording with Afterburner anymore!

I was always playing in full screen, and I never thought that new UI changed the settings... its shame for me

Thanks a lot again, I was logging in to forum to just say you how much I appreciate your advice.
I lost a few very excellent records from game because of one stupid setting in video settings...

I'm sure at some point that can/will change, but that isn't really an MWO issue than it is a Shadowplay issue.

We - at least I - know it, but there is no visible different between full window and fullscreen

Yes, it is not MWO problem, but many people will don't know it, and will write here, instead of nVidia forums

Btw, I think that ShadowPlay will be ultimate tool while it will be going out of beta...

Riiiight, cause software MJPEG or whatever can compete with hardware accelerated H.264.
Apart from the Full Window issue as mentioned above, the other reason that UI2 appeared to "break" SP is that initially there was a bug with the MWO video settings. People with options set to "Low" were actually running in "High", and so your framerate would plummet.
I will admit I have seen issues with SP, but it is still pretty early beta. You may still be better off with FRAPS or Bandicam or whatever for now, but those days are coming to an end.
Hardware capture will take over. If it isn't ShadowPlay, it will be something like Intel QuickSync (Haswell CPUs or later I believe) in combination with software that supports it such as Mirillis Action.
Also, many "issues" I have seen with SP audio are nothing to do with SP, they are because SP captures in Variable Frame Rate (VFR).
Adobe Premiere does not play well with VFR.
Windows Media Player can not play with VFR. If you have a clip that appears to be going out of sync etc, try playing it in VLC.
Recording with Vsync on can help.

It could've been a fluke. If it comes back, try reinstalling.
My guess is, though, that it was just a random quirk and didn't close the file properly for playback. I've seen it on RARE occasions from time to time [though not from shadowplay]

I *have* seen some corruption and stuff with SP - on my brother's old PC.
Here, we suspect the issue is the PSU being *only just* able to handle the power reqs.
If we put a more powerful, known good, GPU in then we get major screen corruption.
Seeing as the hardware H.264 encoder used by SP is a physical "chip" (or part of a chip that is usually inactive) then I could see power requirements being higher when using SP.
If you are seeing issues, it may well be to do with power. Try unplugging a DVD drive or anything else not needed and see if you still get the same issues.

I myself LOVE ShadowPlay. Had a AMD card and used MSI Afterburner before. SP is a big step up from that. A little unhappy with using full screen instead of full window since I'm a multitasker and don't like having to Tab-Out all the time but I suppose its a sacrifice I have to make...
