Ok I just had a game of Conquest on Crimson Strait and I had to Alt+Tab out of the game to adjust the volume of one of my teammates on TS3. When I returned to the game the graphics appeared to have gone down to low res and I couldn't control my Mech. When I tapped to go right, my Mech moved about 90° to the right from one small tap of the control, same with up, down and left and when I tried to move my torso with my mouse it just lagged really bad like I was getting about 2 FPS. Also it looked as though I was looking round my cockpit as well as moving my torso but I can't be 100% sure about this as it could have just been bad frame rate.

So I warn you all do NOT Alt+Tab out of a game at any time.

Oh as an added extra I have put all graphics settings to very high but I have a monster of a PC so I know that's not the issue but just in case here are the specs:-

Windows 7 64bit OS
Gigabyte G1.Sniper 2 Motherboard
Intel I7 2600k Sandybridge CPU(8 cores) @3.4ghz
ATI Radeon 7970 Sapphire OC Edition GPU
16GB G.Skill Ripjaw X RAM
128GB SSD
1TB HDD

Interesting. I have only did one drop so far with U2.0 but alt tabbed out to check which room I was in on TS3 and alt+tabbed back into game and did not notice an issue. I will try it again also when I get back in later to see if I replicate what happened to you to see if it is a cross the spectrum problem. I am using AMD FX 8350, and Nvidia 760 GTX, so it might only be happening with certain hardware.

Were you using fullscreen, full window, or windowed mode?

I can't alt/tab out,.. doesn't work for me,.. Game is ******,.. I have to ctrl/alt/del out of game, this patch is utter GARBAGE!

Switch to your monitor's highest resolution and try it there. Stabilized alt-tabbing AND fixed the font issue for me, so get the word out.

Why not just play with fullscreen borderless window mode? That mode has been working for me for quite some time now, no alt-tab issues at all.

Good for the devs to know though.

I also can't alt+tab out of a game if there is nothing else running (ie TS3). When I do have TS3 running. the TS3 window poped up but when I minimized TS3, The audio from the game was gone. and would not Alt-tab back

Well I always use Fullscreen but I think using Full Window would probably work better for Alt Tabbing purposes.

Yea my monitor is already at it's highest resolution of 1920x1080

Found that I couldn't alt-tab in full window mode. Simply didn't do anything. Worked fine in full screen though.

Hmm, fullscreen with TS3 and just can't alt+tab period. Not crashing thankfully. Just have to have everything set beforehand.

Annoying, but not a deal breaker.

Have had similar problems for ages, CTD with Alt+tab when I'm running full screen.

Try using alt+enter instead to change between full window and full screen as an alternative - I use it and no problems since

Can't really help, but I don't seem to have any issues alt-tabbing in/out of the game from windowed mode.

No problem alt tabbing here either. Full window mode. Just be arware that it's inherent to Windows that you can't "alt tab", e.g. switch to another open window if there is no OPEN other window.

Try the Windows button instead if your keyboard has one.

Similar experience. I wanted to Alt-Tab to check who came into TS channel and I was unable to get to my desktop on Windows 8.1. I could change to other applications (like FireFox or Thunderbird) but totally unable to get to the desktop itself. I am running Fullscreen mode.

I cant alt tab at all, and the game is stuck in a horrible resolution...im talking 640x480 levels of EWW. game looks horrible because of it.

QUICK FIX for those that cannot alt tab. Go into settings and hit "full window" instead of full screen. It should allow you to properly alt tab again like it did before....distorted text in game tho...

Yea that's why I am using fullscreen and not full window, I don't want the distortion. I have found out that you can Alt+Tab from the mechbay just fine but doing it from in a match itself was what caused the issue.
