Myself and a few others in our unit have experienced the same thing. Core mechs that were used are now only garnering 1/2 to 1/3 the damage realized on average prior to 2.0. So the question is what changed? Multiple pilots using unchanged builds experiencing the same thing leads to a reasonable conclusion that something changed.

A few matches...everyone has bad ones but on average those in my unit discussing this have experienced a signifigant drop. Enough so that I chose to not spend the money on a Clan pack with this patch but did buy the ESO pre-order. These guys continue to run the risk my attention will be pulled elsewhere with the lackluster / and in some cases in my opinion game breaking or at the very least degredation of functionality of their patches.

I am under the 250ms++ range... Yesterday I went 4 MLs only Ember... It does feel really bad.

Hmmmm.... Been think.. PGI should give us the ability to see in 'real time' the damage we inflict on the targets.
You know something like what RPGs have ? Hit target and the damage dealt value pops up for a moment.

It should be especially useful for us when using lasers so, we could tell where we should lead to be more effective ?
The problem right now is the .. Crosshair goes red but since lasers is Damage Over Time we just can't tell whether our shots is effective or HSR is just lieing to us.
This should at least help to provide more data for debugging the HSR problems for laggers.

I just came from a match where no matter where I placed AC shots on a Spider and Cicada doing no more than 100kph, at least 2/3 would fail to do damage despite showing the hit graphic.

Please fix.

Also, the above suggestion to implement a damage number display would be nice, even as an option or a debug (combine with framerate show F9?).

MWO IS BROKE! I say goodbye for a few month cause its a slap in every players face, before UI2 we had probs with spiders or mechs faster than 140kph, since ui2, just forget this game, no light is even 50% hitable, it IS impossible that a nearly new atlas with ac20/3srm6artemis/2med stands front to front with an Ember in a corner, U give him 4-5shots of everythin right into his body, then your atlas falls and the ember walks away with not even 1 crit zone, another example, 1Ilya/1BLR/1JM6 together shoot on a raven thats running all around us, serveral ac5/20 laser etc hit it, our JM6 goes down, the raven runs away with whole armor only on light yellow, 1 zone light orange, NO crit zones again.... this is what happens all day long now, not only if u play the us/can boys with trice the ping u have (and i got 100mb fibre here in germany). no its the same shit here in europe, pings doesnt matter at all, ITS JUST THE ****** WHOLE SYSTEM BEHIND MWO that is just CRAP, i cant understand how they work over a year on something like that? i kinda feel ashamed that i payed so much for devs that just give a shit on us players, where r the promised european servers? wheres all the stuff that was promised? yeah thx for nice looking, halfworking mechlab, thx that my consumables only can be used every 2nd game, THX A LOT FOR LISTENING TO THE FOOLS THAT PLAYED UR PUBLICTESTS! THANK YOU PGI! Hopefully see ya back on a working game...

That moment when you hit a light mech with a high damage projectile, crosshair goes red, paperdoll blinks, aaaaand... the color only shifts slightly from yellow to darker yellow like it did 1 or 2 damage when a hit like that would have turned it red or dark orange. =/

i bet they never played their own shit nor tried to understand what is going on, its just like telling the community that everything will be fine somewhen, buy more heros, exchange stupid 500k xp from a mech that are totally useless and pay more money, buy ****** rangemodules that dont bring a SHIT, that was much more important, more important than getting a working stable server in the EU for all the stupid supporters that paid, that have to play with pings way above 100... Its just a shame, but i know they just laugh about us every single evening.... you shouldnt care bout cw, try care about the players, otherwise u can play cw PGI vs IGP on ur own. No real statement from any dev or someone "important" in here, why? cause u cant handle the problem, otherwise it wouldnt been getting worse after the patch, u dont want to tell the community the truth, cause u cant afford loosing more and more coreplayers so u lie, make date's when somethin will really improve, just throw shit out of the window to keep us running.... PROOF me that i am wrong and i will excuse myself, but the hitzone probs and the huge ping differences were much more important to gameplay than anything else, u promised things will improve after UI.2, a new, non working mechlab wasnt important for gameplay, maybe for the devs to put better sales on without the serverdowntime, thats what they mentioned already.

as i said, proof me wrong, make a statement that u'll have the hitzones under control till tuesday, hey, its YOUR UI.2, its the uberUI as u wanted us to believe, over a year work on a source that is existing for nearly a decade now. it worked better for the modders of mechwarrior LIVING LEGENDS, but u stopped them from going on, maybe u should have recruited these guys or asked someone that had success with the whole cryengine...

WORSE: tried several games today, uac5, ac20's just fly through Jägermechs and other stuff, totally broken system currently, this is what more than 40players i talked to experienced the last days... why not take this serious? currently it takes about 1-2min longer to find a game, why? less players or an even more broken mm? the lights go down it seems.... ;)
