I used to have 40 to 60 FPS before the patch. However, after the patch, my FPS dipped at the same resolution and detail to a 10-20 range.
Other than changing the settings; I notice different times of the day also contributes to low FPS.
I did a test by playing continuously throughout the day for a week and found that even with the EXACT same settings, the FPS differs on a daily basis.
On good days, I get 40-60 and some lousy days below 10!
One reason might be PING but we are able to see that number. However, what we do not know is server load. Maybe the servers are overloaded on certain times of certain days?
I think the low FPS issue is contributed by a magnitude of problems. It doesn't get resolve by changing the resolution or details.
Anybody else notice this phenomenon?

Seems like when the east coast is awake, the lag seems to be really bad and FPS drops like a rock.

If it's not a server load problem, it might be due to some inefficient routing, especially when there are too many concurrent connections.

I only really get FPS drops when its on River city, or when sombody launches a huge volley of LRM's.
Can't quite figure out what exactly is causing LRMs to literally drop my fps from 70 solid, down to 2-3 fps for a good 1-2 seconds.

did you reset your ingame graphics? dont use custom right now, try setting everything to medium by default. Run the repair tool too.

As Vinson suggests please ensure you don't use custom until the 18th patch which contains fixes for custom settings, if your having fps issues runs low or medium. There are also server performance updates coming in the 18th patch to hopefully help alleviate some of the server load and more extreme rubberbanding that is seen in the game.
Please continue to provide feedback especially post the 18th patch, if you can open a support ticket and attach your dxdiag info and location I'm happy to work with anyone experiencing these type of issues post the 18th patch to try and isolate why there are still some reports of low fps. Internal testing shows that on our min spec machine with DX9 or 11 on low settings both can run averaging 40fps.
