when i first tried playing after the patch i thought wow this looks horrible.after a couple games and crashes i hit alt+enter and the graphics and the font looked better but im not sure what the better setting is.is it fullscreen?full window? im thinking its fullscreen but not positive.

Alt-Enter means Full Screen mode. What to choose depends on what you need. Some GPU driver functions may or may not be available depending on the mode you select. For example, AMD hardware has great full screen resolution scaling (small resolution works on a higher-res screen with good visuals), but only in actual Full Screen mode -- this may be what you are referring to. On the other hand, Full Window makes it generally safer to Alt-Tab out of the game and back.
