Hi,
I drive a HGN-733, I noticed after one of my battles I was 4t under weight, when I checked, all of my ammo was missing. I replaced the missing ammo (3t uac5 ammo, 1 in each leg and 1 in right arm, 1t ssrm ammo in head) went to launch a new game to get a "unable to launch into game due to critical loadout error"
I checked my weight it to see if my missing ammo had reappeared, nope I was at 90t (the max). I went to go and check my mech for invalid slot filling, clicked load out, then clicked right leg....Crash.
I have repeated this multiple times (clicking either leg or head, where the replaced ammo was) and crash every time, my mech is now "corrupted" as I can't launch it or edit its loadout to fix the problem.

*NEW UPDATE*

They have fixed the problem by adding a strip mech button under configure mech. Give it a try guys it worked for me.

Same thing happened to me but with a ShadowHawk 2H? ((The main phoenix one.)) Changed out to LRMS. Saved the mech, game crashed. Went back in to see if took my save, I was 4 tons under weight. Added the LRMS ammo that had all vanished back to the legs. Saved the mech. Tried to join a match and got the critical loadout error. Went back into the mech lab to see what was wrong.. crashes every time when I try to work on the legs ((where the lrm ammo was stored)).

Still having this problem, I put in a trouble ticket about it and at 8:00 am this morning and now 9.5 hours later still no word from anybody. My mech still won't launch and any attempt to fix it in the Mech lab crashes the entire game.

Hi,

Thank you Daemur for your reply.

My loadout out, as much as i can remember is
Highlander HGN-733
Upgrades- Double heatsinks, artemis, std structure, std armour
right arm-uac5, 2t uac5 ammo, 1x dbl heatsink
right torso-2 x er ppc, 2x dbl heatsink
head-1t ssrm ammo
centre torso-std engine 275(1 double heatsink internal), 1x beagle active probe
left torso-2x streak 2 launcher, 3x dbl heatsink
left arm-2x dbl heatsink (armour stripped off completely)
left leg- 1t uac5 ammo, 1x junpjet (armour stripped to either 67 or 58 cant check as it crashes my client)
right leg-1t uac5 ammo 1x jumpjet(armour stripped to either 67 or 58 cant check as it crashes my client)

The problem appeared after exiting a match (after the match finished) I realised that my mech was under weight, I went to loadout screen to find that none of my ammo was in my mech (HGN-733), I proceeded to refill my ammo (1t uac5 ammo each leg, 2t uac5 ammo right arm, 1t streak srm ammo head). I then hit the checkout button to save the changes, returned to main screen and hit launch. This is when I recieved a popup messege saying "unable to launch into game due to critical loadout error".

I then went back to configure my mech. under loadout i clicked the right leg and crash, after client restart i tried again and crash. I restarted again and tried the left leg, crash. I tried a fourth time with the head and crash again.
At theis stage I cannot select either legs or head under configure mech->loadout without the client crashing. I also cannot launch this mech (HGN-733) without recieving the "unable to launch into game due to critical loadout error" messege.

I have also submitted a ticket (currently 10.33am utc where i am now) 21 hours ago. copy/paste of ticket status included below.
Description Created Updated Status ammo replenishing/ invalid loadout bug 21 hours ago 21 hours ago NEW

If there is any other information required, just let me know.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the replies, good to know i am not the only one, and I feel you guys. it sucks. I atleast have other mechs I can use for now.

However, I just realised the most annoying part, this mech currently has my ADV Seismic Sensor, ADV Sensor Range and ADV Zoom modules on it and i can't remove them due to "unable to save due to critical error".

Time to buy new ones :)

just give us a button to strip/reset the mech wile you look for the problem.

Please!!

ctf 2x
removed 10ac added 20ac when to remove 10ac ammo from both legs 10ac ammo was missing.
loadded 20ac ammo in legs clicked checkout and got the corupt loadout.

Im thinking my 10ac ammo is still loadded in the data for the leggs.

I striped the mech except for the legs
When i click a leg mwo crashed to desktop.

I've got this "trap" problem as well with my BLR-1S - my mainstay LRM boat - PGI, why don't YOU give you another free mech to replace the one that's stuck in game?

It's only fair, given that there are so many critical bugs and usability issues in the game right now.

I just ran into this same bug yesterday on my K2. So all the folks here that are locked out of their mech are locked out until there is a fix? No magic wand fix our loadouts?

Well that sucks.

My game freezes when I try to remove the engine of my BLR-1D.
I am also unable to start the game with this mech due to this issue and receive the error msg "unable to launch into game due to critical loadout error".
