[Countess Crow]

All night my ECM has been cancelled by unknown. Finally last battle I was fighting a GRIFFIN with SRM2X4 and 2 medium lasers. My ECM module was NOT destroyed but he was cancelling it at close range?????

Just a little added info. This was the ONLY other Mech left to kill!

BAP cancels ECM at a range of 150 meters.

You must have been gone a while...PGI made BAP a hard counter to ECM within 150m...so it's basically a mandatory 1.5 ton tax for streakboats.

Just partner with one other mech with ECM and you will counter any number of BAP.

Narc is supposed to be getting a buff that will counter it as well.

A UAV will nullify all ECM within its detection radius for 45-60 seconds (or until it is shot down).

I have not seen this result in the field.

Situation as follows.

Piloting a KTO-19 streak boat with BAP and advanced UAV.

Set to my designated task as light mech hunter and zeroed in on an ECM Spider.I got two salvos off before a second ECM Spider arrived.So I fired off the UAV and still had my streaks nullified by ECM.

I was careful to maintain close proximity to the UAV to be sure the battle occured within it's LOS still nadda on the streak locks.

UAV doesn't cancel ECM but rather sees strait through it.

The ECM is still jamming your taget sharing and Streaks, but the UAV is spotting them for the rest of the team. Similar to how the TAG works.

The UAV is outside the ECM field. You were inside it. He's right, it doesn't counter it, just spots through it like a TAG laser at range.

UAV is like a floating TAG Boat... but not like the HBK-4P TAG boat... UAV just illuminates targets on team radar instead of countering/disabling enemy ECM fields.

Thank you. I normally play my Spider with my friends Raven. So together we do not normally have that problem. However, last night I was playing solo.

When the ECM mech is not within 180m, but detected by the UAV, you can fire at it with Streaks.
