Showin' off the fancy new sale thingy?

Already got a Yen-Lo-Wang.... got it for only 30% off....

I got mine when it first came out.
For full price, as the first hero. Back when SRMs were superior to autocannons.

yesterday I broke down and bought my first hero mech the X5. its a good thing this sale isn't the Flame at 60% off. My money is safe for a little bit longer. Must fight the temptation.

What they really need now is an MC sale. Lots of people (myself included) didn't get MC for Black Friday because we were stuck in the holding pattern waiting on UI 2.0/CW/etc...

It would be a shame to have to wait for the next Black Friday sale.

Love my Yen Lo! I bought it when it was 50% off last time. Its not for everyone but teaches you how to defend a weak side on mechs

Excellent mech. Requires a functioning brain to use it though. If that requirement is fulfilled even an assault mech take some steps back if they meet you riding the Yen Lo Wang.

It might be worth it if it was 100% off.

If you patched from the old UI, you may want to uninstall and do a fresh install. Big changes usually don't go over well with a simple "patch."

Reinstall fresh.

I think this is the perfect price-point for all mechs. Roughly $20 gets you a mech and two other variants. I'd love to see this price for all clan mechs as well.

Seconding this.

Especially if you were (even starting) to have weird bugs.
Example: All flames and smoke turned blue the day before the patch for me.

Clan mechs in are typically close to 20,000,000. Wouldn't that be pay to win if you can buy them for at such a low price?

The Adder, a 35 ton light mech.. 7,021,688 C-bills.

The Timberwolf, a 75 ton heavy like the Orion, 24,233,124 C-bills.
Meanwhile a stock Orion M (chosen for being the most expensive) is 10,715,293 .

Probably just testing, they'll get into some kind of rythm eventually.

No one will pay full price if they do them too often.

Full price is really a rip off anyway. $15-30 for one virtual item that has a minimal earnings boost is really a bit much :/

Uninstalling is a great idea, it's the reinstalling that will be hard... but I guess I'll do it.

Given the rate we earn cbills (for the average joe, not tryhards with four man heavymetal premades) the idea of grinding for a full set of clan mechs with variants is 'mental' on a whole other level, as it stands I give up after only a few matches assuming I ever make it out of the mechlab before losing interest. (It would be less pay to win and more pay to get people to play as a result, I mean if you could play a Timber Wolf by either getting rolled off and on for more than a month, or fork up $15?)

Please compare like by like.
CBill prices in MWO are not CBill prices of the TT due to changes in the XL pricing

the Orion-1M costs 15,3mCB, so the TimberWolf is roughly 1.6 times more expensive as the Orion.
So, in MWO the price for a Timberwolf should be in the range of 15mCB to 20mCB, depending on the configuration.

If nothing else, give the turrets a chance. I think they're a decent start. Would like to see how they turn out on larger maps.

Agreeable.
