1) filled out the beta questionnaire;
2) waited (possibly patiently);
3) got lucky.

I was really tempted to include the ... profit bit from the underwear gnomes, but someone else will do that.

Yes !! After Paul kicked the server last time, a key was left under the desk. The cleaner sold it to me for my sister.

It was a brisk cold morning on July 19th 2012. I had just finished my morning job and was about to set down to eat an entire box of mac and cheese. You see, I was hungry. A box cam to me via email. When opened a tiny person who's name was 'paul' hopped out and bestow to me a magical gift. The power of teleportation. I used this gift to rob the west street bank off of flamingo in Las Vegas. Right when their armored carrier arrived. They needed additional Pylons so I cooked a massive omelet and threw it in the engine. We flew away to Canada where unto someone who looked like the little person I be stole 23 bags of money. I was given a beta key. This beta key unlocked the limited time offer of online del taco orders. It was amazing.

There you go.

How I got into beta. I filled out this long questionnaire about my interests, system specs and such. Then I hit the request button. Then I went and signed up for the pass deal and got into the WoW: MOP beta and also got DIIII when it came out. I'm still in it too. I don't play it though. It was interesting for a few hours. I liked how they changed the tanking mech... oh, you meant the MWO Beta. That on is still under NDA.

Well... I was sitting there looking at the never ending PENDING bar when I got a call from a friend who said he knew a guy who knew a guy that had a sister who dated a guy who dated PAUL's sister and she somehow managed to sneak a KEY away from Paul and I could get it if I asked nicely. SO... I did what any respectful well mannered man would do in my situation. I BEGGED, PLEADED and SWORE that I would be Paul's sister's man servant if I got that key. Well... I got the key but it was a key to her house where i now have to keep to my word and go be her man servant Im doing dishes, washing clothes and running errands. But on the flip side... I can say I know someone related to Paul.

THIS IS A FABRICATED STORY AND ONLY MADE UP TO LIGHTEN THE MOOD OF THE FORUMS AS OF LATE.

But seriously, the people who did get in just got in because they waited patiently (mostly) and were lucky enough to be chosen to beta test the game
