Think they will do all heroes 24hrs @ 50% off? There is at least one I would 'impulse buy'... :-)

The Golden Boy has been on sale in the past.

Jester... perhaps the Boar's Head. There aren't all that many that have not had a sale associated with them.

They might just testing functionality of the new sales/store stuff via UI2. I suspect the 24hr sales will end sooner rather than later.

It's a safe bet that they will regularly cycle through them for the 24hr sales. Deathlike called it, they are going for the "impulse" buyer. Think of the 24hr sale like waiting in line at Fry's, starting at all those candy bars, toys, phone cases, headphones, and other nick-nacks.

It's a solid strategy for them actually, and I'm glad they've got an easy to update revenue stream at the least.

Agree but if you just plan on going the 4G route with it, AC/20 3xML, there is nothing wrong with it. That is if you wanted a Hero 4G that is. But I got the LE as well because HBK homer here as well.

Yeah well, my MWO song in this regard is Tina Turner: "We don't need another Hero!..."

A lack of background story and legendary pilot makes hero mechs just another variant with rejigged hardpoints, fixed cammo and a C-bill bonus.

Anyone know if they'll release a clean cammo for the Firebrand? The covering of 666 has religious issues for a few people I know. Kind of like other prohibited symbols.

Yeah, I refuse, plus the CanOpener is the better route to go with the 4G, which requires 3 ballistics to house my 2 MG also. Mind you, nothing unique to my current build, either, just 2 Mlaser and 2 UAC, but when it works, it can be all kinds of fun. Just a shame SRMs are worthless overall, negating the missile rack from being truly useful.

Same here. Just was playing with the load out on smurfys for a Protector. Must resist but looks like it has potential!

I already have 3 'phracts but the Ilya is just one I know I will buy if it goes on sale.

ETA: Well I bought 6500 MC... so much for resisting. Probably pick up a Protector and wait to see if an Ilya goes on sale.
