I hear good things about ui 2.0. Unfortunately I am unable to enjoy them because I can't get into the game at all. I'm getting a login issue where when I enter my password and hit submit I get the yellow spinning wheel and then "Error Occurred" "Network Request Timeout" I tried for two hours last night and this morning with no success. I couldn't even get to the MWO website from my home computer or iphone or ipad on the home network. I can from work so I don't think its a computer issue. Is PGI blocking my ip address or area or something?

Other people are having the same issue and no, hitting esc at the splash screens does nothing. Of course I'm skipping the intro's! Who wants to watch the ads all the time? the better idea would be to have a way to remove them like most games intro vids.

I'm experiencing the same problem as well. I can access mwomercs.com and the forums from outside home, but cannot access the webpage at home at all, not even the forums. Additionally, I also can't log into the game. I get the "Network Request Timed Out" error.

I sent a support ticket into support@mwomercs.com, and got an e-mail saying they received it.

Several people were able to resolve this by checking their firewall-settings/turning it off. Did you try that ?

I noticed that MWOClient.exe wasn't allowed to connect through Windows Firewall, so I set the firewall so it would allow a connection. That still hasn't fixed the problem, and I still can't get on the website from home.

When I get home today, I'll try flushing the DNS and a couple other things and see if it helps. Or maybe I'll have an e-mail from support with a solution.

Alright, I find this very strange. I tried getting on the MWO website with Internet Explorer and I was able to get on the site when Firefox wouldn't let me. Now I can use Firefox to get on the site. I have no idea how it started to work again other than just doing that. I accessed the site with IE, then got onto the MWO site with Firefox while IE was still open.

Now I am able to log into the game. Totally weird. Can someone please explain what just happened?

Hotfix appears to have fixed it.

It wasn't the hotfix for my problem, that's for sure. I had MWO patched with the hotfix and I still couldn't get on until I took the steps above.
