Couldn't find this suggestion, so here goes:

How about dead players get to control idle mechs? I happens quite often that one or two mechs are idle in a team and just stand around at drop zone. I think it would be cool if the first dead player would be put in control of the first idle mech.

Could also be useful for when you can't get a game full, just spawn trial mechs and let dead players take over.

Better yet!

Lets put paint ball rovers in the game! This way when you die you get to run a little mechanical dog with a Paintball gun on it's back. Doing no damage to the enemy but re-painting their mechs!

on second thought. No.

I don't see how this would work?
Cool idea though. I just don't know how feasible it would be. Plus then you have issues of your user end taking over a mech and systems you may not even own. They have said there's going to be a rejoin feature implemented so if you get DC'd you'll be able to rejoin the match
