Few months ago I made a little frag montage. I recently started to work on a second opus, and thought it would be a good idea to promote the first movie, you know, just so it's not lost in Oblivion. And who knows, you might even find it entertaining!

So here it is: I'm a PUG and proud!, a movie to celebrate PUG play with flamers, AC/2 Locusts, twin PPCs Spiders and flying Blackjacks.



Any thoughts, comments, suggestions are welcome.

I'll only bump this this thread with new frag movies and other "big" projects (hopefully there will be new stuff soon enough), but I also do some other things such as gameplay videos - if you're interested check this thread on Mechspecs for the updated list, or just browse in my Youtube channel.

Man, I wish I could make videos of my own (if for no other reason than for my own personal enjoyment ), but that's not important; what's important is the video! I don't know about anyone else, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And maybe it's just me, but around the 6 minute mark when your Spider was firing those PPCs, it felt like a step back for me, since my first MWO 'Mech was the K2 back when it was a trial 'Mech. (That's a good thing, btw! )

Oh, and in response to the text at the beginning of the video, I ride a purple 'Mech, too. Does that make me special? XD
(I'd love to be able to drop with someone like you, I bet it'd be a lot of fun! )

The oldest clip in the movie I think. Good old times when PPCs dealt damage even bellow minimum range, had a 3 seconds reloading time and generated less heat!

And yep, riding a purple mech makes you special!
(special primary target most of the time, but special nonetheless)

I always hated the disrespect "noobs" were subject to in online video games, and the fact that the word itself was considered an insult. "I'm *** and proud" being a classic form of minority empowerment militant catch phrase, I often claimed "I'm a noob and proud" (that eventually became the name of my youtube channel).
When I started playing MWO, I was amazed by how many people were bitching at PUG players. I'm pretty sure most of them never played competitive 8v8 or 12v12 matches, but who cares, they are just bragging about how superior they are to the masses. So here it is, I'm PUG and proud.

Though I am not affiliated with any house purple is indeed the most glorious battle camo....I regularly bust fools in pug matches so i give a salute to my comrades in glory.

we all start somewhere and maybe just maybe not all of us have a million friends to rock a drop with. glory to the little guys.
