Yeah, I've wanted the Flea since I saw the "Falcon's Honor" or something like it on Youtube (group of German players from MW4 - 3rd best worldwide or something like that - can't find the youtube videos any more though :()
They used a Flea to open up some weight on their team - and put up videos of him doing awesome stuff (to Beach Boys music to!) including Irish Highstepping (the music they used may be why it isn't up anymore, hadn't considered that)

Doubt we'd get the Crabs though - or at least not the King - between the split-criticals rule issue, and the redunkulous firepower (4! AC/20 potential in one variant?!) - which is sad. :(

Yen-lo-wang got in, and it once had split criticals if I recall correctly...

All they'd have to do is remove the hands (they do nothing anyway) and an actuator (I'd suggest upper and lot it up and down, but let it swing side to side. Give it some flavor and a weakness).

I can hope, can't I?

Wasn't aware Yenlo used the split-critical (though it kinda makes sense...)

Ah hope.... without you I would be........

Unpleasant to say the least :(

I can't say with absolute certainty, but I believe it did, as I always had it described as a fully mobile arm. The problem that the Yen-Lo-Wang had originally was the AC used to replace the AC10 (as far as I understand from the books, it was one of the few that could fit, and was one of the more powerful AC20s around) had a bad tendency to jam in combat. (Warrior Trilogy, in at least two matches I can recall, it jammed on him. In one, some melted armor covered the exhaust port, and in another it just failed for no reason, forcing it to use it's nails, which were only meant for decoration.)

The model of AC/20 Yenlo uses is the same one the Victor does (Pontiac 100 IRC) and both the Centurion and Victor had bad reputations due to jamming issues in the lore. (Victors are also described with mobile arms BTW)

All the AC/20 in TT require you to give up the elbow joint to mount them - so I could very easily see at least one version of Yenlo's stats (because TT was so consistent :() using split-criticals - I could also see the opposite.

The nails were not just for decoration BTW - as he does note when first planning for them that they could be used as weapons - but that if they got that close (or if otherwise needed to use them) he was already in deep doggy-doo. :(

The lore is (as noted!) very inconsistent though - as mechs like the Victor are described doing things they simply could not do in the TT game - I almost wonder if they changed Yenlo's gun to a Gauss when Kai got it just to avoid that particular issue.

Most likely...

However, I am no TT buff, but as far as I know one can split as many criticals as needed for an AC20, but only for an AC20. Hence the King Crab still has hands, upper, lower and shoulder actuators... But I only play stock mechs in TT, the few times I've play it. (I own a lance of crabs, which are still under construction. I was hoping to resculpt the arms to look like Alex's artwork, but failed so far. Should just give in and finish them I guess...)

Neither am I :( closest I've gotten to it is trying to get MWT working.
I do pay attention when they start discussing it in the forums though - and reading Sarna or the other similar sites is quite edifying at times (esp with what gets removed.... then put back.... then removed as people fight over "cannon")

Edit: biggest thing I know about the split-critical rule is that the King Crab was supposedly the prime example.

Edited Edit: we are very off topic though (sorry about that :()
Though the OP hasn't been on in 3 days, so we are probably (possibly?) safe.

I don't own any Cicada, and they are in fact pretty far down my list. (above the Stalker and Highlander though)

As for mech's I am hoping for? Off the top of my head:
The Zeus. (with wings!) which is probably further down the list than the Crab(s)
Urbie. (because!)
Flea.

There is a cicada that holds 6ML, and runs like 130KPH+, it is a great little mech for hunting strays in the back.. I have often thought about buying one...

I have that one. It can run hot if you alpha, so the key is to space your shots in sets of 3 to stay cool, and alpha when you have a great shot open. If you are interested, I can go, get my build, and post it up here for you to review/consider...

I like lights, and I found the cicadas a pain except for the X 5 which I run with reasonable success. FWIW
