Not doing this to be a troll but am sick of this website. 1 new mech a week was ok for a while and little snipbits of leaks or whatever but seriously theres a beta going on they could release a few videos. decent ones with a rehersed battle or something. Seriously i will be downloading the game and playing for free but thats it i will not be giving any money over for this. 10 years is a long enough wait without this Modern Warefare style let the hype do the advertising for us rubbish. All there is now is people doing polls on stuff no one can possibly know and talking about loadouts on mechs that no one has any idea of. Will this mech be in will that mech be in can we do this can we do that. this whole site is just one giant troll from the dev's. well theres my 2 cents.

They can not release much in case they change it
I was actually suprised they released a date the founders could join.. just to change it a few days later

All I can say to the OP is WOW! How about you wait like everyone else and enjoy what we have gotten right now? Beta is going on to make this game as good as it can be and a lot of things change on a day to day or week to week bases in a beta. They may give us a screen shot or 2 here and there but we are not goin to get any beta vids until probably open beta as there are probably things going on in beta that if shown tithe general public could cause a lot of people to say hey keep that and once the game comes out and what was seen in the vid happens to not Benin the game because it didn't work for whatever reason, then you have a lot of people mad because something they thought would have been good is no longer there. And it works the other way too. Don't want to show something that a lot of people ate going to see and think its a stupid thing to have in the game and get people upset for nothing because it could still very well change before full launch.

You realize that closed beta is effectively "alpha", with them likely changing builds considerably every week and considerable bugs being nailed down.

It's gonna be a feeding frenzy till the NDA's are lifted and beta players can talk about how things actually work- once they work as intended.

Although they could do a video with a "All content displayed subject to change" notice, that would be nice.

If you think that's bad, you should have seen us Diablo fans during the 4 year wait following the june 2008 announcement. With the rarity of information, we were talking about the color of the shoes and the shape of the helmets the wizards were wearing!

it's a beta, what they show you of videos could be heavily flawed, and theres probably not even enough content there to make anything interesting. if they released more videos it wouldnt be as interesting to wait for it, and saying that you wont pay but will play based on that is just being a *****, they did a lot of work to get it working, it's not their fault that its been 10 years since last release, quite taking your frustration out on the people that are actually trying to do something for you, and not even telling you to pay.

I can understand your frustration, but it's a beta. And you know as well as I do that though we LOVE getting video of the game, people will take that footage as an example of how the final product is, then start picking it apart and nitpicking on it.

Personally, I've been rather proud of PGI's increase in features out to the community. Were you a member when we only had a single update on the game once a week? PGI's been a lot more active than that, and I'm personally very appreciative of it.

Yes, at the same time, I'm thinking "Oh God, you still have over a freaking MONTH before you can get your hands on the Founder's Pack", but it's like crying over spilled milk. We have to wait. That's just the nature of the beast.

By your own admission you have waited patiently for 10 years, just wait a little longer for the Awesome (and yes I mean the mech) to arrive It will be worth the wait. Also saying you won't be paying for anything Pirahna offer is a little harsh since they can only show you what they think is to a high enough quality for us, rolling out half baked pre-alpha and pre beta videos will only draw criticism from fans who were expecting more.

You are not owed anything as annoying as that sounds. Be patient, allow things to go right and less whining. No one gives a rodent's posterior about you not getting to play before the games release.

This guy is nuts, Ur sick of it? really? If this was EA we wouldn't have had ANY info until the day open beta released. And Yes this game is Alpha even thoe they call it beta. They've only been working 6 months on the game, there is no way its as close to done or beta as they claim. Just be happy they tell us anything at all!

These entitled people drive me nuts, they owe you nothing and are making a FREE game for your to play. So be nice or go amuse yourself elsewhere until it's done.

WOW. Calm down dear, they are supposed to be releasing the inception packages tomorrow and a later stage of Beta next month, give them a chance, its better that they spend ages getting it right than rush it out an **** off any people new to the game who won't wait around for bug fixes etc.

They should do like the Elder Scrolls Online developers did. They started development of the MMO and kept it a complete secret from the people outside their industry for 5 YEARS.. and only 2 months ago they released the first informations about the game with a screenshot proving that it was a real deal.

I think PGI fails to realize that hype marketing just ****** people off unless the game is soon to be released . Tera had my money due to its gameplay videos people posted online. World of tanks had my money due to the fact I got to test the game. For people to be willing to buy into the game there has to be some form of staying connected with the game and that ultimately comes down to having access to gameplay footage or playing the game itself.

The few videos they have posted are far dated. Having an NDA on the beta also limits information. Speculation only last so long with nothing to back it up.

If PGI really wants to drive sales of its founders pack. Enforce that not all features or mechs will be available at that time. But also push out new gameplay or sample matches every week. Hell you could even publish the patch notes of the with game play citing the changes affecting players afterwards.

People will feel a lot more connected to the game in this fashion. If PGI wishes to drive long term revenues they should understand people that help develop and shape something are much more likley to stick with it down the road.

NDA simply isn`t the way to go at this stage. Do not get me wrong they have been great showing what happened for the beta keys. But people just grow annoyed not being able to see anything other then a few screens or wall papers, because the big draw of this game is watching these beasts in motion.

There are plenty of other games out there to help you pass the time. Relax. If you managed to survive a decade without a fresh MW game you can survive half a year longer....at least i can.

He's right, you are not entitled to know/see anything. The game is currently in closed beta and it does not have an announced release date at this time. The game is not finished and has a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. I'm sure that the devs are working their ***** off to make this an amazing game. You have to remember, this might be the MechWarrior franchise's last attempt to reestablish itself. If this game dies, MechWarrior might as well.

They have enough on their pallet right now. I would like the devs to spend their time making/fixing the game, rather than recording videos. I'm sure that down the road, they will release a ton of videos, screenshots, and other media. However, that time hasn't come yet. They need to finish the game first.
