We have targeting system that id friendly/enemy mech, they could put a red X on the aiming point when we point a friendly.

If the enemy are able to interdict your sensors with ECM, or force an ally to shut down (so he does not feature on your IFF) then they may trick you into hitting him with friendly fire.

I think this suggestion may take away a valid tactic and lower the skill cap.

After all, situational awareness, heat management and trigger discipline are all skills you should have to master to "raise your game" and become a better player.

IMO if the big blue triangle over it isn`t already enough, having the reticle turn red and trigger the "it turned red, fire everything!!" reflex probably won`t help much at all...

In a brawl it becomes messy, i just think the engineer didnt think things through when he make the hud.

Aww you can't make the game TOO easy!

How else am I supposed to get away with shooting my team-mates if a big red X pops up every time!

C'mon!
