So i have a DD-C with I almost wish i didn't any more the shotgun build on it makes me sad dies too fast or my side torsos get insta striped and i go zomble mode though sometimes the triple srm 6 and ac/20 punch still works

I have a Gauss and 4x medium pulse backed by two lrm 10s on the RS

So i was think da fuq do i run on the D? i mean i could just copy pase the build from my RS but thats no fun

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e3abc733e2dd96f

came up with This but i really am not convinced LBX AC's are useful they never seem to put out much damage for me maybe if they would let us carry standard and cluster rounds damn it,,,

The other build was basically My D-DC build with a srm traded for two mediums'

mostly the atlai still having me screaming DAMN IT WOULD KILL FOR MRMS!

You could always try something like this:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...70afa372ce7fc86

(There is half a ton left to increase leg armor again, was too lazy)

The atlas isn't the best mech to use two AC5 because it's really better to use an AC20 for single high dmg hit and twisting your torso afterwards.
But i understand where you are coming from, because using pretty much the same "AC20+X" loadout on all atlas can be rather boring.
While the atlas is certainly not the best mech for a double AC5 loadout, it works to some extent and it's something different.

Edit: if you don't want or need AMS you can get rid of 1 DHS and the AMS and and the Case. Upgrade both SRM 4 to 6 and add a ton of ammo for more firepower. You could also remove the case and switch just one 4 to a 6. I didn't plan the build very carefully, just threw it together quickly

No-frills dual UAC5 AS7-D

Because torso twisting is not as important as controlling the distance you're fighting your enemies at. Large lasers and dual UAC5s are scary, the rest is for fireworks and zombie mode.

Thanks for the recommendations now i just need to make it over this cash slump i've been stuck floating around 5 mil for weeks god the cash making even with my 30% bonus mechs is slow going. Also the constant urge that makes me want to buy back my disciple to the god atli the hunchback. Also damn you pgi for cutting my income by 50 percent when you added twelve mans it was nice only taking about a week to grind out cbills for a new mech taking a week and a half to buy anything really blows. Not to mention i still have a bunch of phoenix mechs that still need doubles and endo

4 Mlas, an SRM10 or 12 rack, and either dual ultras or an AC20. Engine should be around 350.

Simple and effective.

Mess with the engine size to get large lasers, more ammo, or any other tweaks you are fond of. Whatever you do, do not use dual LBX, they are underpowered, as you guessed. Do not listen to anyone who says otherwise, they are wrong.
