Well its not a cure but it's been a quick fix for me and a few other guys that sometimes run into this issue. It may also Help the devs track down the caus of this error, who knows.

So the problem is on drop i sometimes get a black screen. Sometimes for just a few seconds and it fixes itself, other times...not so much. I can hear the match going on in the background sometimes(startup sequence) yada yada.....so here's my quick fix!

Believe it or not, Turn your monitor off......yeah thats it. Then turn it back on. Works for me EVERY TIME.

Dunno if this workaround has been mentioned but it has saved me huge headaches, if i didnt find it i probably wouldnt play nearly as much as it happens on average once every 5 matches or so....changes.

Anyways enjoy!

my specs as per what my alienware sheet tells me....

I'll give that a shot. My blackscreens def are connected to gpu issues so it's worth a try.

I usually only have/had freezes where I have to taskmanager out, but the blackscreen I had a few days ago was fixed exactly with that, display off/on switching.
