The Toggle Arm Lock is not actually a toggle button as it should be. Today we'll have to hold the button, and when we release it switch back. Now, on some mech's I'd like this to be on, on others not so much.

Now, I would get it if this was supposed to be made this way, to make it a litte more difficult to aim all weapons at the same area. But I am able to turn arm lock on as default in the settings, so this point is not valid.

Could we please have the Toggle Arm Lock to actually toggle instead of the holding behaviour we have today?

agree, "Toggle Arm Lock" needs a toggle.

If you have logitech hardware for your mouse or keyboard, you can use lua scripting to MAKE the arm lock button into a toggle.

It's kind of garbage that there is no in-game option for such a thing, effectively giving an advantage to folks who buy pieces of hardware.

If folks are interested in the scripts to use with logitech G series hardware to do this, I can provide it...it's pretty trivial to script.

Yeah, I can probably make this happen in some way, but this should be really easy to fix for the devs too...

I like it the way it is. There are times when I need the arms to snap in lock with the torso right before a shot but move freely as I torso twist later.

I would love the toggle to actually toggle arms lock, you can still mimic the way it works now by slapping the button twice, but certain mechs WANT armslock to be on (Awesomes with PPCs) hate turning it on and off each time

I did this via Autohotkey macro and it really is perfect for any and all mechs. Holding down the key yourself as the current option is.. just sucks in comparison.

Also, such small easy to fix changes that makes rather big improvements should get done, as it would make the comunity more happy.
