They just released a patch. I was really excited to see some; ANY changes in UI. Nope. Still teeny tiny fonts that don't show any of the info we need; tons of information we don't need everywhere; and when I see my mech sitting there in front of me (which looks great), I don't even have any idea what weapons are in it unless I go through hover/click fest.

I did manage to see that. From that brief glimpse, it appears to be a "smurfy overview screen," a non-interactive one. But the devs did say that they realise the importance of having this, so hopefully something fruitful will find it's way into a future build, something fully interactive where you can make changes easily.

Like your idea Moromillas - nice work on the visuals.
I would also like more info in the front screen where mechs are stored. The pop-out chart screen with info is nice but there is room below the mech where the armor etc is for module info, ammo count per weapon type, etc. Info we (classic BT players) are used to seeing on a record sheet (maybe not modules but you get my drift). Should only take 1 screen to show ALL pertinent info about a mech if set up right.
Kinda like MechWarrior 2 or 3, but we want better!
