Yes, it looks cool.
Yes, the code is more elegant and flexible. (So I've heard.)
And yet UI 2.0 is a disappointment.
- It is no longer possible to look up WHERE the hardpoints of a Mech are, without buying it.
- By splitting up the loadout-options into evermore tiny menus and moving Endosteel 'n stuff to "upgrades" it is now even more difficult to keep an overview on what your Mech has equipped.
- The images of the items are a waste of screen-space. Shrink their dimensions by 50% and you gain about half the area for displaying other stuff.
- It is a shame on YOUR side that YOUR players have to resort to an EXTERNAL service, because it offers better and more features in terms of planning YOUR game.
Please rework UI 2.0. In its current state, the user-side of the user-interface is simply embarrassing and worse than in UI 1.0. You can rest assured that the forum community is full of helpfull hints as to what should be made better.
(And please consider using a location-sheet that shows ALL of the Mech. You know, like it's standard for pen&paper and for all the BT software except yours.)
Thank You.

Dear Pgi, Please Restore The Features You Deleted With Ui 2.0

how about something as simple as when you double click a item in mechlabs it removes it.
How about stats on the mechs in the stores.
Then fixing bugs would be nice. Few times I remove a engine clicked back and it was still there. After using gxp the counter doesn't update so you don't know how much you have used.
This is just stuff from today, I don't even remember all the other bugs.
