I think I will indeed try that. Thanks for being polite about it.

EDIT: Alright I have set it up with that suggestion here. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...8cd64e1c76347ed

Yeah, this one looks better, anyway MISERY was my third mech and first hero.
I jumped thru many setups, but I found the best one for me is this:

MISERY :
STD 265 (14 double heat sinks)
GAUSS RIFLE (4 tons of ammo)
4x LARGE LASER
AMS (1 ton of ammo)

Like putting BAP on a mech that would clearly benefit from 2 more heatsinks? Yeah, me too.

I've got five double heatsinks housing right inside my trigger finger.

I would move the explosive ammo to your head/leg, and ditch C.A.S.E. for more leg armor. Also, lower back armor if you have not already. 10-15 at the back is plenty on a Stalker.

Have you ever tried to headshot a moving Stalker?

Also usually one would go with only PPC or only Large Lasers, not both.

I respectfully disagree. Some of the most beast builds include x2 PPC, x2 LL.

For full meta, you can run this:

If you are able to get over the public shame that gets tossed at people who run LB 10-X, you might give this a try:

I normally avoid both PPC and LL becase of the heat issues considering my current build already cannot have me dependent on my PPC's. However i'd like to know how you get both to work when dealing with heat and ghost heat (if there is any).

I have had a lot of success with x2 PPC, x2 LL builds (not just on the Misery) by having the 2 PPCs set to group fire on Mouse 1, the 2 LLs set to group fire on Mouse 2, any ballistics or missiles set to Mouse 3, and then the PPCs set to chain fire on Mouse 5 (for me, spacebar). I will drive my heat up with group firing until I'm at around 80%, then I'll alternate shots with the 2 LLs and chain-fired PPCs. If the build has a ballistic or missile option, I will use that while my heat dissipates. Admittedly, you have to have a good sense on how much heat a PPC generates on your build, as well as the awareness of when you can't use the PPCs due to range constraints.

I hope this is helpful!

I can see how this would be effective but I can't feel it would fit my playstyle much. I would probably end up overheating to death like I did trying a 9ML Hunchie.

Dear OP,

Do yourself a solid. Loose the LURMs & turn the whole right side of the mech into a shield.

Whatever you do, keep the AC/20.
