Champion 'mechs are notoriously worthless, anyways. You're paying extra for an XP boost which, in the end, is meaningless.

Throw in the damn paint and camo to make them worthwhile or advertise them in the ugly green them come in.

Maybe the VLOG for January, and then in a few days for February, would be nice. The one we had in January was supposed to be in December. Would LOVE to hear about the state of the game now that UI 2.0 is out, please? Couldn't care less about a Champion Stalker.

Though slower than other Kintaros, I really like the Golden Boy. That CT (when the doors are closed) really seems to last longer than the ones of the regular Kintaros. Plus, it's gold!

Champion mechs are a terrible business strategy.

Here is what often occurs:

New and naive player starts playing MWO.
New player gets ***** repeatedly in game due to atrocious new player experience.
New player thinks: why must I get pillaged so, hmm "CHAMPION mech" maybe that will help me???? It sure sounds great!
New player does not know better, and gives PGI money they do not deserve.

Fast forward a few weeks or a month....

New player realizes they were ripped off-a champion mech is just a normal mech for real money with an absolutely worthless xp boost. They could have spent the money on premium time, a hero mech, mech bays, or overpriced paint, or even a better game.

New player feels ripped off by pgi.
New player does not want to spend more money.

This is why champion mechs are ******* stupid.
