No, I can find the hardpoints for you if you want.

Hard points and loadout are visible. Modules are now visible as well. Someone with screen shots may be able to help you out more than that

he is talking about seeing the hardpoints in the store...not in the mechlab once you already bought it

You can also buy mechs in the Mechlab. You can't see the exact location of the hardpoints though. So I'd also advice you to use Smurfy (Link in the quote)

PGI rolled the UI out in incomplete state, and they actually told us they would... yep, some things are missing, but it´s not a surprise, because we knew that ... they won´t roll back the UI for various reasons, so all you can do is help yourself out with 3rd party tools such as smurfys (as mentioned above)... and wait it out until additional informations are being patched in

No, don't roll back the UI. The new frontend might have some problems, but its the supposedly much improved back end I care about. Without that, we get none of the features we've been clamoring for for years.

While your idea of having the hard points be more accessible is a good one, rolling back the UI is not. C'mon Finny, don't be Tech-crotchety.

UI 2.0 Loads faster after match ends for me than 1.5 did. Only thing that loads slow is the group button / friends list.

The old U.I. will never be back. Time to go forward and make the appropriate changes to the new U.I.

I agree about the hardpoints for new mechs. I bought a Kintaro the other night and had to check Smurfy to make sure I was getting the variant I wanted.

Still, it is something that will be patched with time.

The new UI has lots of issues - but I think that the backbone of UI 2.0 is stronger than the last one.

The last one had polish - but it was polish on what was - at the core - a bad system.

See the same thing. I assume it is a "priority to load" settings for the different module types. They will likely tweak that with time as well. :D

Do please show me where it displays installed modules without me selecting a mech, clicking Configure, and then clicking Modules. I'll admit that I can be dense and I have not spent a lot of time in the new UI, but I cannot figure out where they are displayed outside that path. :D

if ui2.0 will actually get some semblance of CW up in the game then ill take it in almost any state. sure its currently a step back wards from what was already a pretty bad ui. but at thing point any progress that does not completely brick the game is really forward progress...

For the record, I like the look of the UI and think it's a big improvement over the previous little window - aesthetically.

It has quite a way to go in the usability department though. :D

@Bagheera: The old U.I. could be run in full screen with alt-enter.

Fair enough, but that didn't make it look any better. Click-O-Rama aside, the new one is still an aesthetic improvement. :D

Is there an option to buy amounts off consumables up front or an auto rebuy option somewhere?
