After the UI2.0 patch it seems to me that the advancd zoom module reduces the size of the box where the image is enhanced, thus making it more difficult to scan with.
Is anyone else suffering from this or is it just me?!

Try putting this in the feedback subforum.
I don't think any in-game HUD assets were changed this patch.

yeah it got better back then, but it still is obtrusive, especially if you have an enemy mech highlighted
personally i'd find it better usable if the advanced-zoom windows was smaller (or at least square sized) or full window like 1,5x and 3,0x zoom

Actually, that's opposite to the problem I am having. Before the patch it seemed that the zoom box was oblong and it made it a lot clearer when panning. The smaller square box which i have now makes the sudden zoom more jarring and i have trouble focussing on what I am looking at. (My eyesight is 20/20 before someone tells me to change my prescription!)
