Hey guys,
I am running MWO on an Alienware M18x R1 with Windows 8.1, however all my Tactx Keys (or Macro keys) and my volume keys are for some reason disabled when I launch the game, I can't seem to find a solution for it, nothing on Bing or Google so far.
Any ideas.

Greetings all,
First, check that any keys you had linked to the "macro" keys are still set within the MWO options "keys" layout.
- There have been many changes, as well as the addition of "joystick" settings.
- Some of the normal keys are now linked to "other" keys.
- I normally have to "turn on" or "start" my software for my keyboard and mouse settings for them to be enabled within MWO.
- After that's enabled/On I have no difficulty using the "G" keys, and if I have a Macro set for one it works.
[ note here, there seems to be a slight delay before it takes effect and happens within the game.]
If you have a Macro set for the original MWO icon, check as each update/patch may change the starting .exe, so your old Macro no longer points to the correct location. (just a thought)
Ensure that the "Profiler" is running or your Macros will not function as required.
Here's a link to the Dell macros, section #3 and #4 detail what should be set and how they are designed to work:
