70 something. Couple chassis I havent run yet, I usually buy all variants once i start on one minus when my first is a hero mech i buy on sale like Dragon Slayer.

All of them.

I won't be purchasing or grinding any clan mechs (unless I get seriously bored or feel that a few look seriously good, which I doubt will happen)


I plan on owning all the mechs from the 3025 TRO when and if they get added, plus others outside the book, avoiding dumb power ranger looking mechs like the hatamoto chi, and power creep cheese like the Crab series.

The Atlas will be the only 100 toner I own

I must update after the free Centurion weekend. I also bought the other 2 Quickdraws so I could master the 4H. The 4H is my favorite with the 3 missile hardpoints.

67. Though, my rate of mech acquisition has really slowed down in the recent months. I bought most of my mechs before the famed C-Bill nerf and afterwards the grind slowly got to me. I feel pity for the new players, the grind is absolutely horrible and getting to 30-40+ mechs is pretty much impossible without the hero+premium combination. You WILL burn out.

65, started in July, no burnout. I run PT and have heroes, though don't use them for "grinding." If you're playing with people you like and having fun, there's no grind. My only frustration with mech acquisition is how sluggish new mechs feel, not the frequency with which I can acquire them. <shrug>

I'm selling all the mechs I don't need from each chassis after I've mastered the one I want. (to save cbills and master the next one, same goes for engines)
Only the Firestarter, Awesome, Victor and the Atlas aren't Mastered yet.

I own 74 mastered battlemechs. Ten of which are heroes, with six more being the champion phoenix 'mechs. I kept at least one variant of each chassis, with duplicates of five variants. I have found that I enjoy running a variety of 'mechs. Perhaps I went overboard, but I love battletech. Not to mention big stompy robots.

50, with a bunch more elieted that I now regret selling and am slowly working to reaquire.

I've elieted everything but the Raven, the Cicada, the Kintaro, the Catapult, the Quickdraw, and the Victor. I still need to rebuy my Stalkers, my Highlanders, and my Atlai, which I sold because I was dumb and too space poor to buy mechbay slots at the time. Everything else I've been gradually replacing.

I am keeping mine because when lobbies get added, I want to be able to run tournaments with X mech. Like an all HBK 12 vs. 12 match or something.

Which is why Premium time exists. I believe they did this to sell more of it. And yes, I know how it goes. I did start an alt account ages ago to play with a friend and stay in the lower ELO matches. I got 10.2 million after cadet bonus ended and have only 3.8 million C-Bill saved up towards my 2nd AWS (I bought the 8V to start with).

In the beginning, I used to sell mechs I found no use for. The game balance keeps changing though, and I found myself buying back some mechs I had sold. So, I decided that it's not worth my time to grind the CB to buy some mechs over and over again, and now I just keep everything I buy.

Even after that decision, I've sold the Quickdraws and the Trebuchets. >_>
