Suppose, an enemy Mech has that module equipped.

- If you are closer than ~100m to that Mech, the colour of his team-triangle switches from red to blue and you can't lock onto him.
- If you are farther away, the colour of his team-triangle is red and you can lock onto him.

Very big NO, last thing we need is more teamkilling and it will literally ruin brawling mechs.

Horrible idea, though I admit you may not have played the game long enough to understand how maddening this would be.

Way back when - about a year ago - the game had a lot of bugs in it. One of them was the infamous HUD bug. In short, you had no HUD. Not only did you lack a map or targeting sights, you also had no IFF markers - no red or blue/green triangles. So, you were basically lost and had to try to remember which mechs were on your side and which ones were not. The game also had far fewer mechs, so you had a lot more duplicates on the battlefield. The end result was total confusion - shooting allies by accident, failing to shoot enemies until they clearly shot you, and so on. It was extremely "un-fun" and frustrating.
