just got one shot by a single ppc blast in my deaths knell ive been hit in the same place by ac20's and it was only one cat that hit me with the ppc. has anybody else run into damage mods or know if they exist in mwo?

I dont think they exist. But had a team mate that claimed that you can rewrite a xml file to up the damage done by weapons.

doesn't work.
server handles everything, tho it might work in Testing Grounds.
Also cheating btw.

A working damage mod, would be considered a cheat. Anybody running one, would be in violation with the terms of use and the code of conduct. Discussing these things, would not solve anything, but instead advertise their usage, so please, if you come across a player you suspect of using such an illegal tool, report it to support@mwomercs.com or through the web ticket system.

In your report include the following information, if available:
- name of player
- type of offense
- map played
- date, time and timezone
- other players involved (witnesses)
- screenshots
- links to video or toehr material that might prove to be usefull for the GMs to handel the issue.


Please note: Even if you are hit by multiple, or repeated shots with the same weapon, it will only show up as one damaged by message on the death-screen.
