I have one mech currently and my mech bays show owned 4 empty 3. However looking to buy another mech and all it shows is real money options not c bills, is there some way to change this or am I doing something wrong as I would like to buy more. Thanks

Hi Rip. UI 2.0 can be really confusing. Especially if you are a new player. When you go to mechlab. Up top and sort of to the left are some tabs. I bet it is only showing "trail, or hero..." something like that. You should also see "light/medium/heavy/assault". Look and also see if it says "owned or purchasable" near there. Would be at the top left of the mechlab window. anyway switch that to "purchasable" and then click light/medium/heavy/assault, depending on the type of chassis you are looking for. It most likely is stuck on the trial (which are champion mechs) or heros tab, and that is why you are only seeing real cash only mechs. I am not the greatest at explaining stuff so I am sure someone else can make it clearer for you, but UI2.0 is not the most friendliest UI right now, especially for new players, but the mechs are there. Just have to go about it with a few clicks to find them.

- Click Mechlab
- Change Filter from "Owned" to "Purchasable"
- Scroll through the list, or select a weight class at the left
- Scoll down past the Hero Mechs and Champion mechs
- Click amber "Buy" button
- Name your mech
- Select "yes" to complete your purchase

when you do click purchase, It will then give you the two options if applicable. aka, You can choose C-bills, or MC if the mech has both options.. This is the last point you can go back, and not purchase. If you pick one, and click yes, it is yours..

Note when you first go through the list the top mechs are all only.
Scroll down.
The first cbill mech in the list is the Commando.
All Hero (named) and Champion (c) (normal, pre-upgraded) mechs are only.

Looks like ERPPC+Gauss with either MLs or ERLLs depending on the engine.

Another flaw of the UI 2.0 right now is that it won't give you properly detailed stats on 'mechs you are looking to buy. Check out Smurfy's for a very accurate list, in addition to an online mech builder to save you time and frustration.

Find it in the field. But it mimics old Atlas builds when the fall of SRMs began. Streaks, ACs, ML. I used to throw a flamer in the shoulder for fun, and occasionally I did a three PPC rig. I keep my Orions very heat efficient, standard engines.
