Hey guys,

Just sharing this with you all.

My latest match started like this.

And just for those who are curious, this is how it ended.

9 v 8, 1 team with 3 dc's and the other with 4. so 5 v 5 really.

Not much else to say, except FIX MATCHMAKER.

LOL!

That's all.

Edit: Actually, for classic lols showing how this is not a new issue:

And, for clarity: We one on one dueled NarOth, who did exceptionally well. It was actually a great match, all things considered.

How is people failing to connect to the server a matchmaker issue? Matchmaker picks 24 folks to connect to the server, if they cannot, it's not matchmakers fault, it's some other bug in the game (likely in the example posted), or a problem at the players end.

Stop bullying matchmaker!! ;) (or better known as, get your ******* terminology straight for once.)

Hi,

Actually I can and do blame MM for this, a simple line of code would have MM replacing those "failed" connections with other players.

I wouldn't mind waiting a lil longer for MM to find replacment players, once it realises that it has lost players, another 60 second countdown is well worth it, for 2 full teams, rather than 5mins+ in a s*#t one sided matchup.

On the other hand, if they fixed the problem resulting in players disconnecting, they wouldn't need to give the matchmaker additional responsibilities. It's like getting upset at your bus driver for the level of traffic on the road.

Matches take too long to get going as it is right now.

Really, the way some people on here perform the act of cognition serves to bring surprise that matchmaker isn't getting blamed for everything up to and including their lottery numbers not coming up each week.

The server seems to be having a particularly hard time today, 11 disco's in one match for me.

A simple line of code? Well hells bells son, you should send support that line of code to remedy this issue immediately... Clearly PGI is withholding this singular line of code because they love to hear how broken their MM is. :)
