EDIT 2: After extensive testing build is extremely effective. Much more so than i expected. It can actually manage itself if played correctly in pug games. Just make sure for every hit you take they take one of yours and you will win. You can also drop 1 ton of ammo for 1 ton more armor.

Tested and approved. It is effective but i like the ac20 version better because it does something most others can't right now and the ac10 x2 and 2ppx can be outdone by 1 ac20 and 2ppcs.

The phrase "one trick pony" comes to mind. If you are running that mech, you had better see the other guy before he sees you. A Locust could eat that thing for lunch in about 10 seconds.

3M Locust, 5xML, optimum range, 2 Alphas to the same side torso. Medium lasers take 1 second to fire and 3 to cycle. It would take 5 seconds.

It is a joke build. But like i said i have run it and i do an average of 450 damage per game. Whoever said too hot, it actually isnt that hot and DHS cools it down plenty fast. Armor, i do enough damage per shot that if anyone is dumb enough to stare me down and "out dps" me they will either die or be crippled to the point where they will be useless the rest of the game. Saying lights eat me alive, i follow around the clumps of the team so if they try to focus me they get gang banged by my team. I am perfectly happy with this build and its effectiveness. Oh and for those who said "not enough ammo", 28 shots is enough for 560 damage. That coupled with my ppcs i can deal plenty of damage and i don't have to worry about running out because i don't fire unless they are within 300 meters. Past that and i use ppcs because of how slow ac20 shells are.

So, your trick is not the build, but that you keep a meat shield around you to allow you to stay alive. Any mech can do that. I stick to my statement. Ever get caught open and your on a quick trip to the scrap heap.

I had an uber ppc boating Battlemaster laugh machine that was a riot. And beyond all reason I did like 800 damage in the thing before blowing myself to reactor overload smithereens.

Fun. Its serious business.
