Hey everyone. I know there's a lot of talk on these forums of ".. in 12 mans" and comparing it to the 4-man or lower ques. They are very different kinds of games, with a very different pace - 12-man games are almost universally more tactical, organized and involve massive amounts of teamwork you just can't find in other game types.
That's why my unit, The Blazing Aces, will be hosting some Open House games at our 12-man practices this week; if it is successful at introducing folks to the world of organized MechWarrior and everyone has some fun, we'll consider it a success. We'll even help you out with TeamSpeak functions, 'mech builds and recommendations or some advice on piloting.
There will be no pressure to join our unit [This is not a recruiting thread] whatsoever, but of course if you do enjoy playing with us, our recruitment is still currently open as well. If you find our style doesn't quite gel but you dig the 12 man environment, I'd even be happy to point you to other units we're on good terms with that might match up with your style.

We will be forming up at 6PM Pacific/9PM Eastern on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday on TeamSpeak at:
ts3.blazingaces.info
Password: hunchback
We will likely be in full swing about a half hour after that point. Notably some of our channels are hidden, so if you don't see anyone on, stop into the Conference Room and we'll come set temporary permissions for you right away!
Feel free to stop by anytime. We have folks that play quite a bit at non-regular times, and would be happy to lance with you even if we do not have an organized group up, as well as answer any questions you have about the game.

So come by if you're interested in checking out the advanced teamwork and strategy of coordinated MechWarrior and we'll definitely get you cycled into our main practice team and help you out.
I hope to see some of you soon! If you think you'll be attending feel free to post up in this thread to help both bump it and as well as let us know to expect you and take care of your permissions ASAP!
