Great game! When I load my mechs with LRMs, the range is not long enough. I need at least 600 meters more max range. 1200 meters more would really be perfect. Launching LRMs from 400+/- meters behind friendly mechs is critical. With 1000 meters maxed range, LRM equipped mechs are often forced to be on/near the front line to reach enemy targets. That makes those mechs front line mechs rather than support fire mechs.
With 1200 meters more range, flight time obviously will increase. Spotting and retaining locks will be more challenging. Targets will have a little more time to find cover from incoming missiles. However, pilots will have to be more weary about AMS and their position on the battlefield.
