I really wanna keep the ballistic slots filled but not really a fan of the machine guns so either looking for the ac2-5 range and how to equip those.

Anyways decent build will look very similar. Of course you'll have ac40 builds, but more appropriately I'd recommend 2ac2 2ac5 2ml for a stagger for support build.

This is an insane Mech (although it takes practice and it is vulnerable in the back).

The config of two ac2's and two ac5's is very effective. Upgrade the chassis with endosteel and double heatsinks and add some extra ammo. Just point and click and things die.

I think you guys got the wrong links there but the other build options look really nice.
still getting used to the jager with the stock build but as long as i keep myself hidden from the enemy team and making quick shots here and there and when the match gets to the brawling phase i just make my shots count and count the bodies after it.

I generally leave the lasers off, I find the extra tons of ammo to be a better use of weight.
Swapping out the FF for ES is a good idea though - you'll save more weight with ES than you will with FF.

The most obvious setup is the dual AC20 mentioned before. It makes the mech a really good first striker, capable of crippling even assaults. Just stick to the pack, preferebly near to a big guy, and share that love. On normal maps chainfire the AC, on really cold mapd you can sometimes fire simultanously. It's my hot-rod mech, and I absolutely love it

The cheap setup is swapping the AC2s for 4 MG-s. Not a first striker, but shines during mid game, when everybody is a bit worn already.
And there is the conservative setup involving AC10-s. Not a shining star, more like a reliable workhorse.
And don't forget, that the greatest disadvantage this chassis has is it's fame. People will constantly try to fry your side torsos, so keep it spinning and spread the damage.
