Report it. As it is, they had to hotfix one group related crash bug, this may be another one.

Is it crashing or simply hanging? Every time I open the social menu the game freezes for a minute but it recovers. This seems to last longer the more friends you have on your list.
If the program is actually crashing, send in a support ticket.

get in touch with their support (that big "Support" button in the top right of the web site), they will likely need to get your crash logs and PC hardware/software info
