I've been having a lot of fun playing the trial stalker build, and plan to recreate it. But im having trouble finding the build anywhere.

Im mostly trying to find out how much armor is on each slot, how many heatsinks its running, and what engine its using.

I would also suggest you to go find all the STK-3F(C) guides in the forum, all of them recently created to help newbies with this trial should help a ton. Lastly, if you plan to rebuild the Champion, I suggest you also pick up a couple of others to master the Stalkers (either 3H or 5S if not spending cash, MC has Misery, which works differently.) Smurfy is a solid website, and that would help you make certain adjustments (armor and ammo placement, XL vs STD engine, etc.)

Take this. You really do not want an XL engine on any Stalker build. Slightly downgrading the maximum volley provides much more safety.

Avoiding an XL engine is best in a Stalker, otherwise have fun! (and ignore in-game chat much of the time (if not directing to attack the enemy), especially if negative)

And once you get the hang of using an LRM boat, such as the original build asked about; you will frequently dominate the battlefields when you have favorable conditions.

And also know that Stalkers can do other builds well also, once you have a feel for current gameplay mechanics, the sky is the limit.

So, please ask us anything, if you need any help, we have a great community here.

I agree on principle that XL engines are usually bad for stalkers but given that builds heavy LRM load he's ****** anyway if the battle line reaches his doorstep. More mobility ( a relative term for stalkers ) might give him more oppertunity to move the doorstep out of the way.
While that way be hopefull thinking for solo drops its a good idea for coordinated drops.

My recommendation, and this is a Lordred build with the TAG slapped in.
This is on a mech that can fire ALL the LRMs at once and not in streaming volleys that will likely miss. It's an ability that only the 3H has. 40 LRM-volleys. (Originally 50.) Trade the MPL for ML and you can get 50 LRM-volleys + 1 ton of ammo.

Here it is with the 3F. Fewer missiles fired at once, but you can fire them all without being punished with extra heat. 30 LRM-volleys + Artemis

Both come with AMS to protect you from missiles, and standard 300 engines.
MPLs are meant to be fired one at a time, and do Considerably more damage than ML.

If you want a specifc LRM boating Stalker, I suggest either 5M or 3H, mainly because 5M can spam a ton, and 3H has the best missile tubes out of them all (fire a group of 40 ALRMs, then 10 ALRMs.) Similar to what Kon suggested. The reason is that 3F can be used as a completely different gameplay style compared to those two with the extra torso twist, though you can still make it an LRM boat. Same as 5S. 4N however, cannot be a missile boat with only 3 missile slots.

^^^Best advice you can take. That trial Stalker is a paper tiger w/XL.
