Did you see how much the discount actually is? There sre some ridiculous MC discounts on the hunchies and jenners in particular.

Edit: The regular ( available for cbills ) variants of the Jenner and Hunchback are about 85% off for MC.

For instance, JR7-F is 580, normally 1160.

Just figured that out, the normal MC prices on Smurfy are wrong, they are much higher than they should be.

I'm still seeing the same prices, so I may as well add that the listed regular cbill price for an atlas K is 43.6 million.

You youngsters with your fancy Jagermechs, Cataphracts and Victors. Back in my day we didn't have any of those, we had 8 different chasssis, standard heat sinks, standard guidance, standard internals, standard armor and only two lances on a team, and no ECM, and we loved every second of it.

Are you sure the strike-out line isn't tricking you into seeing a 1 as a 4?

I plan on selling all but the DDC. So I bought the K, since it comes with a discounted XL engine, cutting the net-loss. I am ambivalent about the other 2.

I did just notice the K can run dual AMS. I guess that's a plus. You could sit back and spam PPC in it all day and not worry about LRMS as much.

Ive got the DDC, D, and BH
If I hadn't got the BH, I probably would have gone for the K (Dual AMS and a spare XL300)

For C-Bill Atlases, I recommend the D and RS in addition to the D-DC, although all of the Atlases can be made to work. I kind of liked the K (built it pretty much as you suggested).

Well, I was going to upgrade my Ember engine... but I need two more hunchies to complete the 3-variant set. CB sale time here I come! Now if only I had stocked up on mech bays during that sale...

Edit: On the Atlas question, I have the D-DC, D & RS; the RS performs as well as the D-DC in terms of XP earned; all of mine have >1 W:L and KDR (both since going live and since stat wipe). About the only chassis I can say that about.

Fun thought - currently the AS7-K is only ~1.9m more than the cost of it's engine!
