Yeah, looks like each Clan Mech is going to be released with a 15% sale, which is also a lil silly, as the Clan Packs are still available, and cheaper.....

Honestly, if I had the money I'd upgrade mine, not sure to what as the ones I want don't mesh that well with the pack levels...

Kit Fox (have), Adder, Nova, Stormcrow, Timber Wolf, Warhawk.

Would be nice if I could go say, Puma or Ryoken level and have em, but no matter.
I'll get em for C-Bills soon enough.

Those four would complete my hero mech collection, but they seem poor when compared to c-bill versions.

Prior to clans, maybe. Now against clan mechs, probably not. Although if ballistics / pinpoint continue to get nerfed, then a laserboat Atlas may be useful.

I loved mastering Commandos, though the TDK and the 2D are the only ones I have anymore.

I snagged an Arrow and an Oxide. Staring at the Protector and Yen-Lo.

I love Commandos. But here's the thing: it's hard out there for a light. I run my Knell sometimes to stay paranoid. It, at least, goes 171. The 2D if carrying enough weapons goes about 140 tweaked. It was touch and go before clan lasers and streak nerf. It was my first mech, it has a special place in my heart, but I just don't see it now, so you're talking about grinding out three to have a Knell. 171kph and 4ML is not a bad thing, but that's really all there is from the Commando chassis these days, I'm afraid.

The TDK is pretty good, but my 2D has an average damage/match that rivals some of my assaults, whether because of the ECM shield or speed. My 3B is currently my 2nd best COM, but I'm still mastering the TDK.

Nice sale. I did empty my MC account and bought the Protector (I missed it last time around-thinking I had an extra day for some reason). It finally completes my Orions. Too bad there's still no CW and content upgrades, or I would probably open my wallet with some new cash, instead of just emptying out what was already spent on MC. Same goes for the Clan Packs...

Still waiting and holding my wallet shut.

I don't have an Assault Hero, and feel I should get one (and that now's the time), but they're all a bit lackluster compared to their non-hero versions...

Leaning towards a Misery, though I have no idea what I'd do with it.

The Misery and the Dragon Slayer are both best-of-chassis or nearly so.

Misery is good (easy for me to say since I don't have one), Heavy Metal is good (have one). I recently bought 3 Atlai, but passed on the Boar's Head, as I agree it doesn't seem very good (at least to me).

My opinion, is at least get the HM.

With the current state of the Highlander? Really? It feels to me like it gets the worst of the Highlander and Victor's characteristics right now. (Exactly the opposite of the Dragon Slayer which gets the best of both)
