Ironically, I'm impressed enough with PGI's recent direction that if they started doing these again, I'd pick this back up.

For the normal sales, though, it's not worth the effort.

Bundles essentially are permanent sales, so I doubt they'll ever put them further on sale. They haven't thusfar.

Update (10/27/14): Wow. It's been an impressive couple of months for PGI. I have "spoilered" the last update since I meant it at the time and won't pretend it didn't happen, but my excitement level and willingness to spend on MWO has been largely restored. This thread will stay dormant so long as sales are announced, but should PGI resume stealth sales, I'll now happily resume blowing their cover. If this should happen, please let me know!

It certainly seems so. Since the breakup, PGI seems much more player-friendly. Whether IGP was holding them back or they just spotted an opportunity to turn things around, who knows, but promotions, balance and communication have all increased exponentially.

I can't guarantee that a sale will be occuring, but Russ said on Twitter that the next challenge would be a faction challenge, and the previous round of faction challenges all had mechs on sale with C-Bill discounts, so, while it already should go without saying by now, don't buy anything until tomorrow, Friday.
