I've had some great timing with these events lately. I have two free mech bays and was deciding on what medium mech to buy next. Now I'll be getting the other two Cents to level up.

Definitely a nice out-of-the-blue bonus, but one must be aware that this is not normal PGI operational conduct. Trying to bring in new players and keep the few loyal ones from a continuing exodus of founders and other loyal fans you pissed off, guys? Esp. with such a low threshold for mission success, one gets particularly wary.

I like the contest and want to see more like this but... this is were I'm gonna get flamed but 5 wins is a bit easy. Like Pada Vinson said 20-25 would be better.

Past that its a great way to get a mech into players hands and expose centurions to old players.

And I hope PGI makes a Champion version of every mech.

Well, it's a weekend, so 10 is probably a "better number".
