last match, somebody took drop command, to move around the lances. After they left it, I took it to fix our lances. About halfway through the match, somebody else was assigned drop commander, without me leaving it.

Also at various times I'll see drop command assigned, without even being in the command screen.

I have been assigned drop command if I am the first one to use jump jets...

Maybe something to do with holding space bar?

Strange I know, but i have had this happen many times this weekend and always when I jump jet right at the start of match, and never when not in a jump capable mech.

Doesn't seem to relate to spacebar- I've been getting the dropcommand and lancecommand markers without trying at times as well. Sometimes it seems to be triggered by use of the TAB game-participants list or using Escape to get to the menu so I can poke another window quickly and then return to MWO. Several times it's happened when I opened the 'b' tactical map, despite that my cursor went nowhere near the team-members list.
