Is there an easy way not to see the trial mechs in my bays? I rarely play them and so don't want them when I choosing mechs. Have I missed some way to do this?

nope you havent, its just not implemented yet....i hope XD
its not really the ui 2.0 everyone thought, but they are working to improve it quickly and move on to the meta game they so desperately need....

Nope, UI 2.0 is lacking a few refined features that could've been there, like not showing MXP of mechs not owned and not able to set trial weapon groups, etc. Filtering out trials is also not possible as of right now and has been said before.
