I was wondering where the best place to find digital 3d Battletech models for free is, because I was thinking about messing around in Unity/Unreal engine with them to see what I can accomplish. Do any of you know a good place to find them?

Not sure if 3D BT models can be found, however you can extract the models from MWO and probably MWLL and MW2 in some way.

pawel czarnecki's 3d models are probably still around somewhere on the net if you look hard enough; you might have to convert then to a more current format; I think they are in an old 3DS max format.

Thanks guys, I just found some of his old works. Even though the page is in german, nothing a little translation in Google Chrome wont fix.
Here is a link to where I found some of his models:

Hi BitGlitch,
Page is not available anymore, were you able to modify/transform/port the models to Unity? (just learning that and really would like to take a quick look at them)
Thanks in advance!
