I am also suddenly getting constant crashes. Started yesterday afternoon, 2/23/2014. First off I just suddenly got disconnected from MWO after I had been playing all morning just fine. Then I couldn't even log into the game. After about 20 attempts I left for a couple hours. Came back and was able to log in, but then every match I tried to launch, both solo and in a lance, would crash. It would say connecting and sit there for 20 or 30 seconds, then I would get a brief blip of "mech lab" and then it would go back to connecting but to the mechlab.

About 80% of the time it just sit's there trying to connect to the mechlab but never actually connects. I've let it sit for 5 minutes or so. Only way to fix it was to hard crash the game. Finally after about 10 matches, which only 1 actually connected to play I gave up. Came back in a few hours, got the first match to connect and then all the remaining 5 matches or so I tried all disconnected. I talked to some guys on the steinger TS hub and found out it was happening to a lot of them as well and many quit playing for the day. Figuring it was a server bug I didn't play rest of day.

I get up this morning, first match connected fine. 2nd and 3rd matches I crashed. I then did a DNS flush to clear out the cache. Logged back in, first match was fine, next couple crashed again. Went and made breakfast, logged back in and first match in a lance I crashed. I dropped group and launched and it was successful but after I was killed and exited the match again it wouldn't connect to the mech lab.

I have already run the repair tool and had it verify that everything was fine. This has to be a server side error. Graphics are all set to low and my graphics card is more than powerful enough to run the game on max settings. It's not a graphics issue.

What the heck is going on. The game is completely unplayable suddenly since yesterday.

Hey guys, sorry for all your troubles. We've gone through several of your cases in detail now and it's clear there is a common issue occurring for many of you. We're working on steps to reproduce the issues right now, but in the meantime we've got a couple theories.

One theory has a slightly inconvenient workaround that some of you might be able to try out for us. From looking at session history, it looks like many of you were initially disconnected while in-game. You quickly attempt to log in again, and end up in a cycle where you try to log in, and within 10 or 20 seconds get disconnected again. It's possible the new UI is not clearing out its' backlog of requests from previous sessions, and this might be interfering with your consecutive logins. When you end up in this state, could you try shutting down the game client in-between login attempts? I know it's a bit inconvenient, but if this has an impact on your ability to log in again, that would be really useful information for us to know either way.

Once again, my apologies for your difficulties. We'll try and get this resolved as soon as we can.

Thanks Shamous. I didn't know where to post this at. Unfortunately this doesn't address my issue or really the issue of the other guy I don't think. I'm not having an issue logging into the game. I'm having an issue where I'm in the game, select my mech, launch the match, it says searching, then connecting....just like normal. But at that point the match then crashes. 99% of the time it attempts to return me to the mech lab and about 70% of those times it then just sits on "connecting" for the mech lab and I have to hard crash the game. Once or twice the game client has completely crashed to desktop, but no more. Pretty sure it was just 1 time.

Very similar here. multi network errors. Also it says searching, then connecting....just like normal. But at that point the match then crashes, for me it is always to mechlab, leaving my selected mech locked in a match. I do have a ticket to support team 9 have also tried the repair tool to no avail.

One thing you guys might try is to up the voltages of your GPU´s just a very, very small bit.
Had some funky crashes in ArmA3/Stalker Call of Pripyat/Assetto Corsa which magically went away as I notched up the voltage of my GPU (Asus DC2 GTX580) via NVInspector (Std.vtg 1,038V | Upg. vtg 1,075V) .

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU CAN DESTROY YOUR GPU THIS WAY !!!!!!!!!!
CHECK FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING HEADROOM PRIOR TO UPPING VOLTAGES !!!!!!!!

Hopefully that helps (fingers crossed!)

Best tactical online shooter EVER !

But: loading screens and disconnects really putting me off.
I mostly play at night and playing with mostly Americans, so i understand the connection issues.
Speedtest, i get 95 MB/s. 5 mb/s upload. http://www.speedtest...sult/3333233094

I can live with reconnecting to a new group of players, if only the searchtimes and loading screens went just a bit faster.
Feels like u get pulled out of the action too much, like i am looking at loading screen more then actually playing.
I find this hard to accept.
This is just my opinion, the game itself, is awesome and i will never stop playing it.

Maybe a rematch option in same instance? But people will have to wait like in Counterstrike.
Btw: i do like the fact u have only one life.

PGI, I wish I had a C-Bill for every time I've been Disconnected from your sucky game server system. it sure is getting old having my time wasted by one monkey rigged patch after another. Over a half dozen times in less than three days...A tough price to pay for just a few unbalanced Mechwarrior games. With a Universe that has pot luck mech drops instead of a proper Mechlab or map choice. Not to mention battlefield terrain features that are stationary and lack true interactive value. So why should we encourage our friends to sign into this mess again? :)
