I Know Its Called A Spider, But Really, Does It Have To Stick On Buildings?

Here I am twisting, jumping, evading fire, then bang, stuck on the edge of a balcony for two seconds while the enemy has free shots on me. Not to mention, being stuck on stone that my mech should be able to crush with ease, or a flimsy pipe, etc., etc.

So, let me get this straight, I can rubberband like heck off a another mech, but get caught up on the most inconsequential pieces of the map?

Please someone pick up a rounding too and smooth out the edges, or better yet add a bouncy castle map so I can really feel like I am playing bumper cars.

Really wish I could feel sorry for you but...well....chasing Spiders INTO buildings so they'll get stuck is one of the best tactics, ever.

What with their poor hit registration (they can take fire that would kill three Atlases), buggy hitboxes and ECM capability....you take what you can get with them.

Good luck getting them to do anything that will help make the Spider more balanced. Seems to be a low, low priority now.

The speed traps are stupid. It should really not be hard to make the engine less sensitive to speed bumps. How is that not a simple variable?

It's the same to Firestarters also. Very common that it get's stuck on some wall, building, rock etc.

As Phule mentioned, if we're re-balancing lights, sure lets do it! But youre gonna get them to fix the hitboxes, hit reg, and general survivability at the same time. Kinda a pandoras box if you look at it.....

But sure, go ahead and do it...

I was more generally referring to the bad mapping, but with crap piled atop crap its hard to tell which stinks the worse.

Be happy you are not taking any damage from running full speed into same buildings when you should.

This sounds like such a juicy way to splatter a Spider. We need a screen shot gallery just for these.

Honestly, I would love to! Anything to make this game semi realistic is fine by me.

...happens with all JJ mechs, i was stuck-on-a-pole-in-river-city or half-burried-alive-in-terra-therma with HGNs, VTRs, SHDs,TBTs to name a few unlucky jumpers, you can still operate as a turret :D

It has happened to me in my jenner before. You get stuck on the edge of a building or ramp. I've gotten stuck permanently for an entire game in frozen city and HPG before. Unable to move no matter what you do. The maps need to get fixed!

If you ever get stuck anywhere, on any map, press F9(that displays your framerate but also your exact position on the map) and then "Print" to make a screenshot. Then open a support-ticket telling them you got stuck and include a link to that screenshot (wich you need to upload somewhere). They will fix it when they get around to it.
