Is Crossfire truly supported yet? I saw no increase in FPS after going with dual radeon 7750 GPUs. The issue is mainly on the new maps. I get a steady 50-60fps on older maps but the new ones will drop down to 20fps making the game unplayable that that point.

I've have done steps to insure proper voltage goes to both GPUs with the registry hack. Both are overclocked as well.

I haven't heard anything about them supporting Crossfire yet, but would love to see it happen. Currently running a single R9-290X and getting 50 - 60 fps @5040x1050 on 3x 22ionch monitors.

stable at 50-60 on new maps as well? Stability is my problem.

mogs,

FPS is a little lower on the new big maps but still hangs around 50. "Stability" could be a Catalyst CC issue. I'm still running 14.12 because I've had stability and "video artifacts" issues with the 15.xx versions. So far I've tried two and had to back both of them out.

Something else weird I've noticed is that overclocking my CPU (AMD 8350) actually decreases my FPS. I have no effin idea why this is so but it is a consistent observation. My R9-290X already only runs at about 75% speed most of the time to keep heat in limits so I haven't messed with OC'ing it. I hope to be able to get a good water jacket for it soon which will allow me to experiment with overclocking it, I already have the rest of a mondo water cooling system.

You might try un-OCing your video and see what effect it has on your FPS.

Crossfire works, but in full screen mode only.

I have a tri fire 290x system. It works. But you must turn it on in the crossfire menu. also sometimes the power management feature gets in the way. I edited the bios to turn this feature off once and it really boosted performance. The issue was that the GPU would turn off in the mechlab and not be registered in games. Dumb issue but hey. Easy to fix. Another issue you can have is AMD cards will slow if you do not keep the vrm cool. Make sure a fan pushes air into your case near the GPU as they have powerful fans. If you have the blower variety they can get air starved when in crossfire if you did not space them apart far enough. Also this game is bound by your CPU more then anything. A Powerful non stock cooler is a must. Even if not overclocking. This is also a cheep upgrade and can fix many issues. As others have said run it full screen. Windowed slows it. Also check the AMD target refresh rate in the recent beta driver release may be to low. Check your catalyst. Also the 7750 may be a 5830 equivalent. But this this card is older and DX11 is much lighter on resources and I do not know if that card does dx 11. The new levels may be too dense for these cards any longer. I share this as the latest Intel chip's built in graphics are superior to the cards listed and AMD chip graphics outperforms Intel with built in graphics. Thus you may desire cheap bang for the buck. I hope this helps. I will include information.

I hope this helps. and one last one to distract you. A project from the national library system.

My 8320 is only clocked to 4.0, I de-clocked it from 4.4 due to heat and stability. I'll try declocking my GPU's to see what that does.

Choji,
I've done all of those steps already. MWO is the only game I have issues with. Also, I have 5 case fans. 2x200 intake, 1x140 intake, 1x200 exhaust and a 140 exhaust. 1 of the 200's is blowing directly on the video cards. Im running coolermaster hyper 212 cooler.

edit:
actually I havent done this yet
