First off, I realise this perhaps isn't the right section to post this, but I don't see a general problems thread (which seems foolish).

As title suggests, I am hoping there is some way to refund an MC purchase. I just paid 750MC for a camo pattern, only to find I could only put it on one mech. I actually had to search the forums to discover patterns only apply to one chassis. It does not says this ANYWHERE on the customisation screen, and as such I am, understandably I think, feeling pretty ******* conned right now.

So, can haz MC back?

Inb4 "its only 750mc get over it noob".

UPDATE: I've been refunded 675MC (-75 for single-use cost) AND been allowed to keep the pattern unlock, since the purchase apparently isn't reversible! +1 PGI, you're doing it right! B)

As suggested by some below though, they did say they won't be able to do it again, so nobody need bother try to exploit their goodwill.

Email support, thats how you get things fixed in general with your account, forum posts do nothing..

And in all reality most likely they wont refund it, its pretty much gone sad to say.

Yea, I've emailed support as well but past experience with support addresses tells me I should make a fuss here as well. I guess this also serves as something of a warning to anyone that comes across it, as I doubt I'm the only one to suffer this.

What exactly is the point of a 750MC perma-unlock for one chassis, anyway? Given that a one-time unlock is 1/10th the price, and there is no mech with anywhere near that many variants...

Hope you get your MC back, can they remove stuff from accounts? I wonder.

I think you get the pain colors with that pattern unlocked too if it's a premium pattern, but yeah, it's super expensive compared to other things.

Emailing support is all you can. Make sure you unequip the paint job, and they should be able to refund the money. I had them refund a mech for me once (I thought it came with a mechbay, only reason I bought it).

Ah, I didn't think to remove it, thanks for the tip!

If you managed to get a refund off of them, then that's definitely encouraging.

Note that if they do it, it is a ONE TIME thing. They will NEVER AGAIN do an MC refund for you, even if you screw up on something totally different.

That's fine, I'm not some crybaby that wants a refund every time he doesn't like what he gets (already bought the Oxide, ugh). I simply expect to be allowed to make a fully-informed purchase.

If I buy a pair of jeans, and find out afterwards that they're not the advertised size, most stores would refund me immediately. All I'm asking is the same here.

And to be clear, I didn't screw up. They did.

My guess is they might clear the slate for that with a UI problem. By default, UI2.0 tries to make you spend MC even if you have the CBills.
