I was just playing a pug game of Conquest in my Commando 1B at River City, and experienced two new things.

1) In the pre-drop screen, it showed that we were down two mechs from a full team. When we launched, our team showed full.

2) After I got killed, the death screen popped up and I clicked the Spectate button. Nothing happened except that the UI disappeared and the camera continued to circle my dead mech. After waiting a while, I realized that the match was over and the after-match screen had not appeared. It seemed that the game would allow me to continue staring at my dead body forever. I pressed escape and pressed "Quit Match" and it returned me to the mechlab, my mech was available to play... however, I did not get any XP for the match even though I had a kill and many assists. I assume that I did not get any C-bills either, but I don't know - I track C-bills much less closely than XP at the moment.

Back in previous patches, this was more evident. People who connect in later than everyone (because their connection or computer is system) tend to "show up late to the party". Fortunately this occurs less, but not perfectly though.

I'm not sure what happened there.. the camera issue has happened before is a semi-reoccurring bug. With that said... you should try to hold out until the complete match is over and see the results screen. This is always the safest time to quit. It helps to have taken some sort of screenshots and send a log to support (you have to remember when you logged in to find the correct log to send) and see if that helps.

Deathlike is right with what he said for 1).

As for 2): the camera rotating around your own 'mech and not being able to do anything often happens when you die while your 'mech is shutdown. No idea why you wouldn't get any xp/c-bills, though.

I tried to wait, but then I saw everybody else on my team showing as dead, and saw the messages that everyone was disconnecting at the end of a match... nothing happened. How long should I wait?

I dunno, 5 mins at worse?

I do see this is a rare occurrence and a horrible bug. A slight network desync when you died can be enough to cause your problem...
