Hey all! This is a long complaint of BSOD - Blank/Black Screen of Death or it seems some of us started calling it. So bare with me and bare with my English. XD

BSOD is an issue where the screen just go black or blank right after the loading screen and it just stays that way for about probably for the duration of the entire match. It started sometime around late last year with the release of one of the patches. At the time, I was just trying to get a hang of my new mech the 'Jester' and with the new patch, suddenly I was having problems getting into matches. So I figure it'll just be fix in a few weeks time while I'll just enjoy my other repertoire of games. Days turns to weeks to months and still no fix. Notice I have no problem with other games and only started after a patch.

Now before some of you start asking me of my graphic driver update status or did I run this nice MWORepairTool.exe tool or other various stuff ( which unfortunately some will just ignore this part and ask anyway ), yes all my drivers are updated everything is fine. For some reason I am the goto guy when its a problem related to computers in my office( even as trivial as word margins problem and im like wtf!??!...). I've scour the forum hoping to stumble upon methods of how others might help me with this BSOD issue. So I've found some amazing workaround post like the on/off switch for the monitor (sounds impossible but tried it anyway) and other network tweaks which neither of them offers any help except for that the fact that I do get high amount of packet losses on network test. On that note, I am from the Southeast Asia region so from time to time I do get some network spike issues but also do note that despite the network issues, I had no major problem with other games online or not.

Because I am in the Southeast Asia region, and quite recently I notice that the network issues becomes more apparent in frequency when connected to the North American Servers on some of my other online based games like Guildwars 2 something tells me that this problem will probably be worse in time to come. I found an article dated April 2013 at http://www.reddit.co..._issues_update/ that stated that the developer actuary aware of this problem but also that they were not sure if it was a network related issue but suspected and then never heard of again probably brushed it off aside that it is not their problem but the ISPs (which technically it is the damn ISP) when other games function maybe not perfectly but playable. Furthermore that the fact that I could not find this BSOD issue on the "known issue" section on the forum just shows that how trivial our developer thinks this is when its not! Think of how many of us are affected with this problem as the ISPs are coping with evermore increasing network loads. Notice I do not have a major problem with other games like Guildwars 2, Warframe ( started recently and surprisingly fun ) and other online based games while having network spike issues.

It may or may not affect most of you now but mark my words that when your ISP decides that they should manage your neighborhood's network traffic when it becomes overloaded and who knows what method of traffic management whey come up with until their next upgrade schedule which probably you'll never know when that will be and then maybe you'll be in the same boat as some of us are facing.... the Black Screen of Death! Trust me, its not pleasant. The money you’ve spent, the hours you’ve spent and the time wasted on mastering those mechs and suddenly you have no access to its like having your fav toy taken away from you and placed it behind a glass cabinet and locked with electrified fence. On top of that you’ll notice all the nice updates and new mechs rolling in with just one problem… you will have no part of it!
Well its not that bad actuary. Its like for every 5 launches, I get to play one time. The other 4 times… well… if you can wait 20mins then you wait, else you hit [Alt]+[F4].

Why the developer should start taking this seriously? Its simple, because its Mechwarrior! I love this game and I bet the developers love their creations too so why not making it that much more fun and enjoyable for everyone!

The End!!! Gwad I hope I dont have to type this much again.. XD

They don't know and don't care. The issue has been in the game for about ten months based on a reddit thread.

what hardware are you running? some people with nivida cards have had similar issues and have found that under clocking the video card slightly or adding voltage to an oc profile has helped them out and stopped the video crashing.

Not the only times BSOD happens.

For a long time, always when I go the Exit Game, I get BSOD a lot and have to use Task Manager to close the client.
